November 15 PWP Roundtable

This is a gentle reminder about our next roundtable on NOVEMBER 15. Because  of the interest expressed at the last meeting, we have invited two guests to speak on the topic of publishing this month. Here is some brief information about each:

Paul Kelly runs St. Lynn's Press, a new, small independent publisher based in Pittsburgh. He has been in the book business for nearly 30 years and has held senior marketing positions at a number of publishing houses including Harper San Francisco.

Paul Nandzik is a writer from New York State who recently moved to Pittsburgh. Paul has worked as a copywriter for an online magazine, writer and photojournalist for a regional health newspaper and as a writer for a national specialty health magazine. Paul's first published book was an anthology of fantastic and romantic poetry. He is also a contributing author for a mystery short-story compilation book due out fall 2009. In addition to his designer T-shirt company, Paul is currently working on a gaming handbook, a full-length prose novel, a radio drama and a graphic novel.

If you have not done so already, PLEASE register with the Greentree Public Library at greentree@einetwork.net. If you are unable to make the roundtable this month, PLEASE respond to this e-mail to let us know; also don't forget to include your thoughts for December's topic and/or speaker suggestions.

We look forward to seeing you all again and please spread the word about PWP to anyone you think might benefit from this group.
